With a Masters degree in Science, Accounting and Finance and a Masters in Audit, complemented by a course at ESSEC, Jerome began his career as an accountant and financial manager of a foreign branch of a French industrial group.
He joined Salustro Reydel in 2000 and KPMG Audit (key accounts) in 2005 with the merger of the two firms to become Audit Director within the Industrial Services sector in 2012. In addition to the statutory and contractual audits of international listed groups, he has led and participated in numerous internal audit & control assignments and has supported acquisition and divestment assignments (Due Diligence).
Over the years, Jerome has developed a recognized expertise in long-term contract issues. He works regularly on assignments where contract and budget reviews represent major challenges in terms of revenue recognition.
Certified Accountant Statutory Auditor
Qualified as a Certified Accountant and Auditor, followed by a one-year diploma at ESSEC, Gerard joined KPMG Audit (key accounts) in 2000.
He worked for 15 years in the Energy, Chemical, Pharmaceutical Industry business units at KPMG in Paris, and has proven experience in financial analysis, evaluation, internal control and internal audits.
He is regularly involved in the context of consulting and auditing in an international environment, including listed companies and as such, has developed a solid knowledge of IFRS.
Moreover, Gérard has participated in many due diligence assignments relating to acquisitions, disposals or price adjustments.
Finally, Gérard is teaching at the Ecole Polytechnique: he trains "Financial Management for Entrepreneurs" for students and "Master Executive" for executives.
